Contemporary Art

As you enter the brutalist former bank complex, the lobby opens up as a carefully curated gallery space. The white marble sculpture Mar Whispering by Jaume Plensa dominates the staircase, while Tacita Dean’s photo-engraving is placed discreetly behind the reception desk.

Throughout your stay at At Six, original works by Olafur Eliasson, Julian Opie, Sol LeWitt, Spencer Finch, Richard Long, Marijke van Warmerdam, and Kristina Matousch are integrated into corridors and suites in a deliberate and cohesive arrangement. The collection, curated by Sune Nordgren, creates a refined dialogue between architecture and contemporary art.
