Beaujolais NOT Nouveau

French wine tradition, reimagined at Blanche & Hierta. Rare vintages by the glass from Beaujolais, for one night only.

Every November, the wine world turns its attention to Beaujolais as the first wines of the year are released, celebrating a beloved French tradition with good company, fine gastronomy, and a glass in hand. This year, we’re taking a different approach.

Join us at Blanche & Hierta for Beaujolais NOT Nouveau. For one evening only, we are opening rare older vintages and special-label wines—including large formats, all available by the glass—from Château des Jacques, one of Beaujolais’ premier producers known for crafting elegant wines from the Gamay grape.

While Beaujolais Nouveau is associated with youthful energy and vibrant fruit, we are shining a light on maturity, character, and craftsmanship. This is a rare chance to taste the true depth, power, and impressive aging potential of mature Gamay. To guide you through the evening, two guest sommeliers will be on hand to answer questions, share stories, and introduce a sophisticated side of Beaujolais that belongs at every table.

A nod to Nouveau—but above all, a toast to the extraordinary.
